
Earthenware teapots are said to be the best for tea. If warmed before mixing the tea and freshly drawn hot water, the tea will brew properly and while keeping its heat.
This has been tested for pouring and is excellent. The hoop above the spout is to allow a 2 handed lift of the teapot.
